Providence and Grace

Blogger has experienced some problems during the past couple days. Wouldn’t you agree - I think Mom's deserve more than just one day of recognition and breakfast-in-bed. For the month of May, Weekly Giveaway will be hosting fabulous prizes for all things "Mom." I have been using Providence and Grace eye shadow for months now and I LOVE IT! I have never used a mineral makeup before or a loose powder eye shadow. The color goes on so nice and last all day. I love how they describe this product "We may call them eyeshadows, after all that's a universal term that everyone understands, but these are so much more. Think of these as pure pigments - bright, shimmery, true to color, and super long lasting. These are the highest quality available and guaranteed to please. " The array of colors they have is impressive and I think their prices are fabulous to match. Aside from eyeshadow, they also have foundation, liners, lip stick and so much more.

My favorite colors are Indigo (pictured below) - which looks blue but is more of an electric purple when it is on, along with Glow - which gives a nice overall shimmer to everything. There are so many other fun colors I want to try. And a note to self, "If you don't want to see the evidence of aging don't take close up pictures of your skin as I have done." It's not nice looking at a magnified picture of your skin- fine lines look like wrinkles and wrinkles look like canyons! That aside, I'm more of a sutle makeup kind of gal - I like color, but I don't go crazy painting it on. I have been impressed with this makeup and have received several compliments, the most important of which was from my husband who noticed a change in my makeup. Enough said, right ladies! The picture above was taken after 6 hours of wear.
